Department Of Samhitha, Sidhantha And Sanskrit

This department teaches the basic principles like Panchabhootha Sidhantha, Thridosha Sidhantha, diagnostic and treatment principles of Ayurveda medicine. It also teaches the history of Ayurveda, which enables the students of Ayurveda to understand the development in Ayurveda during pre-vedic, vedic, medieval period and recent developments. This department also provides basic working knowledge in Sanskrit to understand the original text books of Ayurveda which are written in Sanskrit. It also deals in Padartha Vijnana, which provides the basic knowledge regarding the evolution of the Ayurveda from Indian philosophy. The department conducts periodical workshops in basic principles and RoTP, Samskritha Sambhaashana Shibira, etc.
